About Teri
I am a Creative Community Builder with more than 30 years' experience designing, developing and delivering programmes that bring people together and create positive change.
I have worked with local authorities, charities, community organisations, schools, cultural organisations and partnerships across the South East and beyond.
My work combines creativity, participation and practical community development to help organisations engage people, build stronger relationships and develop sustainable solutions to local challenges.
Alongside my consultancy work, I serve in local government and was elected Deputy Mayor of Eastbourne in 2026.
How I Work
My approach is rooted in collaboration, participation and Asset Based Community Development.
Rather than focusing solely on problems, I help organisations identify and build upon the strengths, skills and assets that already exist within communities.
I believe meaningful change happens when people are involved in shaping the decisions that affect them.
